The Warriedar Gold Project is located approximately 420km north-east of Perth and 50km north-west of Paynes Find in the Yalgoo mineral field.
The project consists of approximately 45km2 of highly prospective Archaean terrain, with a contiguous tenement package of one core Mining Lease, one prospecting licence and four exploration leases covering 42 blocks.
Epigenetic gold mineralisation in the Warriedar Fold Belt is associated with pyritic alteration of intensely folded and brecciated banded ironstones, forming quartz or quartz-tourmaline veins and stock works in felsic and mafic rocks.
Initial exploration activities at Warriedar will focus on identifying high-grade shear-hosted narrow vein mineralisation, the same as was mined at the historicReid Ridge shaft within the project area.
Formerly known as the Rose Marie mine, Reids Ridge produced high-grade gold from underground intermittently from 1913. Underground workings extend to a depth of approximately 120m.
